After discovering an article where Former Labour cabinet minister Patricia Hewitt called for the age of consent to be lowered to ten in 2014, this project was created as an argument on how much pressure is already on the younger generation and the desire to be accepted into society is heightened. Hewitt was "forced" to apologize which indicates this was not a sincere apology. If the age of consent was lowered this would result in significant issues with mental health as well as pressure on an already high standard society.
